Shipping Area

We exclusively offer shipping services within Canada, with the exception of Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. For delivery to these regions, please reach out to us for a customized shipping quote.

Shipping Carriers

At Canadian Furniture Store, we prioritize the safe and careful handling of your purchases. We partner with reputable furniture delivery companies like Canpar, UPS, Day & Ross, Maritime Ontario, FedEx Freight, and XPO Logistics. Our choice of carrier depends on factors like your final destination, product weight, and size.

Custom-Made Furniture - Delivery Time

Please note that our custom-made furniture items are crafted to your unique specifications. As a result, the estimated delivery time for these products typically ranges from 9 to 13 weeks. It's important to understand that this timeframe is an estimate and not a binding contract.


Delivery Process

For LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments, the carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery window, either in the morning or afternoon. However, they cannot provide an exact delivery time. It's crucial to understand that Canadian Furniture Store is not responsible for the specific delivery times of products. Once the products have been dispatched, it becomes the customer's responsibility to coordinate with our chosen carrier regarding the delivery date and to ensure their availability during the allocated time slot.

In the event that our shipping partner cannot reach you at the agreed-upon delivery time, you will be required to reschedule the delivery, and any additional delivery costs incurred will not be our responsibility.

Upon delivery, you'll be asked to sign a delivery form, confirming that the product has been delivered in proper condition, free from obvious defects or damage.

Inspection

We strongly recommend that you inspect all items at the time of delivery. Any claims regarding defects or damage should be made within 24 hours of receipt.

Tracking Number

To keep you informed, we will send you an email with relevant tracking information as soon as your order is dispatched. You'll also receive a call from one of our professional furniture carriers to coordinate a suitable delivery time.

Beyond Point Surcharge

If your delivery address falls into a 'beyond point' category, a shipping surcharge may apply. Beyond point surcharges are calculated by the shipping companies and are typically associated with challenging access points, such as narrow roads, gated communities, islands, rural areas, or mountainous terrain. We will get in touch with you if your shipping address qualifies as a 'beyond point'.

Change of Address

If you need to alter the delivery address or other delivery details before the scheduled delivery date, please send an email to info@canadianfurniturestore.com at least 48 hours in advance. In your notification, be sure to include your order number and the specific product affected. Canadian Furniture Store will confirm the change via phone or email. We may refuse the change if it does not comply with our Terms and Conditions or if there is a legitimate reason for refusal.

Delay

Neither Canadian Furniture Store nor the chosen transportation provider can be held responsible for a delivery delay due to incorrect address information or other inaccuracies in the delivery details provided by the customer.

Additionally, Canadian Furniture Store is not liable for delays resulting from labor strikes, legal lockouts, or other disruptions caused by our suppliers. In the event of such inconveniences and other force events, the delivery period will be extended in accordance with the duration of the disturbance.

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges, or expenses arising from a late delivery.

Delivery Access

We strongly recommend that you confirm the dimensions of access points to your residence before placing an order for large furniture items. You are responsible for ensuring that the merchandise can navigate doorways, staircases, corridors, and elevators. The product dimensions are provided within the product description for your convenience.

Returns

7-Day Money Back Guarantee

At Canadian Furniture Store, we want you to be completely satisfied with your online store purchases. That's why we offer a hassle-free 7-Day Money Back Guarantee.

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the quality or condition of our products, you can return the item(s) within seven (7) days from the date of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, minus any shipping costs incurred for the original delivery to and from Canadian Furniture Store. This guarantee starts from the day you receive your product. If there's no proof of delivery, we assume it's three business days from the dispatch date.

To be eligible for a refund, the item must be undamaged, in its original condition, and returned in the original packaging, unused, unassembled, and complete with any accessories. Please note that a restocking fee of 10% will be applied if the returned products are not in their original condition and packaging.

Kindly remember that all shipping charges, including the delivery charges from Canadian Furniture Store and the charges to return the product to Canadian Furniture Store, are non-refundable. To facilitate a return, follow the directions provided by our support team.

Upon receiving the returned products, we will inspect them, and the refund will be processed within thirty (30) business days. Refunds are issued through the same payment method used for the original purchase.
All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Canadian Furniture Store. Our warehouse will not accept returns without this authorization.

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@canadianfurniturestore.com to request a Return Authorization Form.
  2. Complete the form and email it back to info@canadianfurniturestore.com. Include a picture of the packaged product you wish to return.
  3. Attach the Return Form to each box being returned. Original receipts are required for all returns. We will provide the return address upon approval of the refund/return request.

Please note that sale items are considered final and cannot be returned for a refund. Additionally, commercial purchases are not covered by the right to return. Except for the 7-Day Money Back Guarantee, Canadian Furniture Store does not provide refunds.

Canadian Furniture Store reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Damaged or Faulty Returns:

At Canadian Furniture Store, we take every precaution to ensure the safe shipment of your items. Each order is insured in the rare event that damage occurs during transit. While such cases are infrequent, they can happen.

In the event of any damage or product defects, it is important to inform the delivery driver that you are rejecting the delivery due to shipping-related damage and make sure to note it on the receipt as 'Damaged Upon Arrival. Failure to do so may result in Canadian Furniture Store not being liable for damage incurred during transit.

If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please notify us at Canadian Furniture Store immediately. To process your claim, provide up to three (3) pictures, including one of the box the item shipped in, to info@canadianfurniturestore.com. Any damage not noted at the time of delivery cannot be claimed.

If delivery is refused due to damage during shipping, our customer service team will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost. If you accept the product and it's damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the carrier.

Canadian Furniture Store must issue a return authorization before customers can return damaged or faulty goods. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Claims for damaged or faulty items made more than seven (7) days after delivery will not be eligible for a refund and will be treated as a warranty claim. In such cases, the customer is responsible for covering all return costs. Returned items must be in their original packaging and condition, with all accessories, and should not have been used or altered in any way. They must be unmarked and unassembled.
